Last Minute Journal

It's a quarter to 2 now and I'm so so sleepy. Need to leave the house by 4.15. We'll be having a very very early flight...hate waking up that early but i can't wait to get to the island.

Anyways...at about quarter to one just now i saw a text message on my phone saying that another friend of ours manage to join. The only thing that i could think of after reading the message was...oh no...she'll be the only one without a journal...oh no!!!

Went through my collection of papers and found exactly what i want. Then i started cutting it. See image below...yup...that one. Cut some colored paper too into the same size.

then...took my zutter, the ring and punch some small circles to make them into tabs. I also cut a couple of transparencies to make them as the front and back cover.

I made this under 30 mins...

I am so happy now that my darling friend Johanna gets a journal too...only that hers is different than ours.

Now the journal is wrapped and ready to go. Going to pass it to her at the airport later.

I will be away till Saturday. 

Will get busy with crafting when i get back...

Fun in The Sun

Every year my best friends (including my husband) and I always go to Perhentian Island, Terengganu. There, we don't do much really...just hang out, talk and play board games...and laugh...more laughing...and swim too of course.

Since my husband and i are going to move to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam this June, I don't think we'll be able to do this again...at least not for 3 to 4 years. That's why i made this journal for each one of us.

Having a journal in hand will make things more organized...i mean in turning this journal into a mini album after i come back from the trip. I'm not going to put a lot photos but just 10 of the important ones.

I'm going to take this mini album with me to Vietnam as I know that I'm going to miss my friends like crazy.

To be honest...i don't even know if my friends would like this as there are not into scrapbooking...oh well...i can always make them write...can't i...after all we've been friends for than 23 years! Hahaha!
